Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services. By submitting a project brief, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Agreement: These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Graphix Book ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 97 Newkirk Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306. By engaging our services, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
Graphix Book provides professional ebook design services including but not limited to: ebook cover design, interior layout and typesetting, EPUB/PDF file conversion, series branding, and publishing preparation. Specific deliverables for each project are confirmed upon agreement and outlined in the project brief or invoice.
We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion, including projects that involve content we deem offensive, illegal, or inconsistent with our values.
All projects begin with the submission of a project brief through our website or via email. Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful content and information.
Before full production commences, Graphix Book provides a free initial demo or concept preview. This is a preliminary sample and does not constitute the final deliverable. The Client must approve or decline the demo within 7 calendar days of delivery. Failure to respond within 7 days is treated as approval to proceed.
All projects include three (3) revision rounds unless otherwise specified in writing. Revisions must be submitted in writing via email. Each revision request must be submitted within 7 days of the previous deliverable being received. Requests outside this window may be treated as new projects and billed accordingly.
Revisions are changes within the original scope of work. Changes that materially alter the original brief (e.g., changing genre, completely different style direction, restarting from scratch) are considered out-of-scope and may incur additional charges.
Projects require a deposit (typically 50%) before any work begins. The balance is due upon final delivery. Deposit amounts are confirmed in your project invoice. Rush delivery requires full payment upfront.
Final files will not be released until full payment is received. Final payment is due within 5 business days of the final deliverable being approved by the Client.
Invoices unpaid after 14 days of the due date may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Graphix Book reserves the right to suspend work on any project with an outstanding balance.
We accept payment via PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, and other methods listed on your invoice. All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
The Client retains full ownership of all content, manuscripts, and materials provided to Graphix Book. The Client warrants that they have the legal right to use all provided materials and that such materials do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
Upon receipt of full payment, the Client receives full ownership rights to the final deliverable files (EPUB, PDF, cover art, etc.). Graphix Book assigns all rights in the final work to the Client.
Graphix Book reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials unless the Client explicitly requests otherwise in writing prior to project commencement. We will never share your manuscript or personal information.
Source files (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign files) remain the property of Graphix Book unless explicitly included in the agreed scope of work or purchased as an add-on.
Delays caused by the Client's failure to respond or provide materials may push back the delivery timeline proportionally at no fault of Graphix Book.
Standard turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. Turnaround begins from the date the project brief and deposit are both received.
Rush delivery (48โ72 hours) is available as an add-on and constitutes a binding commitment to deliver within that timeframe. If Graphix Book fails to meet a confirmed rush deadline, the rush fee will be refunded.
Delays caused by Client inaction, late provision of materials, or late approval responses do not constitute grounds for a refund or penalty to Graphix Book.
Graphix Book agrees to keep all Client manuscripts, unpublished content, personal information, and project details strictly confidential. We will not share, sell, or disclose your private materials to any third party except as required by law.
This confidentiality obligation survives the termination or completion of any project indefinitely.
Graphix Book's total liability to the Client for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or any project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific project.
Graphix Book is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sales, or damage to reputation arising from the use of our services or deliverables.
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that final deliverables meet all requirements of the publishing platform (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.) prior to submission.
Our full Refund Policy is outlined in detail at graphixbook.com/refund-policy. The key principle is: if you are not satisfied with our free demo, you receive a full refund. Once full work has commenced post-approval, refund eligibility changes as described in the Refund Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Jersey City, NJ, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Rules.
Graphix Book reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
